Job summary

CareDx is a leading precision medicine diagnostics company seeking a Molecular/Medical Laboratory Technologist I to support the Clinical Laboratory in processing clinical specimens in Waltham, MA. The role involves performing moderate and highly complex analyses, maintaining QA/QC, and documenting all work under the direction of the Laboratory Medical Director.

You will assist in training new staff, operate lab instruments, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science/Medical Technology or in the chemical, molecular, or biological sciences; or Associates degree in Clinical Laboratory Science.
• Appropriate certification from CAP or state licensure as required.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicates via written, verbal, face-to-face, telephone, and computer methods.
• Maintains CAP/CLIA compliance and quality control programs.
• Performs moderate and highly complex analytic testing under supervision.
• Operates laboratory instruments and maintains equipment; performs QA documentation.
• Assists in training new employees and contributes to lab procedures and manuals.
