Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a 2nd shift Molding Technician to join our manufacturing team in Wisconsin. You will operate molding equipment, monitor production parameters, and perform setup and changeover tasks for sample and production runs.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time completion of duties with opportunities to troubleshoot defects and optimize processes. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of molding experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong attention to

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of molding technician experience.
2+ years of quality and/or troubleshooting experience in a molding environment.

Responsibilities

Consistently demonstrates safety first mindset; follows all safety related processes and procedures, quickly escalates safety related concerns or issues to create a safe work environment for all employees.
Complete injection molds and related equipment startup, shutdown, and basic setup activities for sample/production runs.
Monitor molding machine gauges, pressures, temperatures and production processes to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Perform routine process checks and document production data including cycle times and part quality.
Work unsupervised while using manual and/or power equipment and tools while performing multiple tasks.
Assist in mold changes and material changes as directed.
Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, or process deviations.
Make process adjustments to maintain product quality.
Support troubleshooting efforts for molding defects and equipment issues to correct problem processes.
Maintain process documentation and production records.
