Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Wisconsin is seeking an Operator I to support production by operating a variety of equipment and ensuring quality per work instructions. The role requires cooperation with cross-functional teams to maintain part quality and a safe, productive environment.

The position starts on 1st shift for training, then moves to 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00-11:00 pm). Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to read and follow written

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • 0-1 years of machine operation experience.
  • Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic math and mechanical skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer use and entering data.
  • Able to read work instructions and control plans.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety policies and 6S standards to keep a safe, clean workplace.
  • Operate multiple equipment types per work instructions.
  • Use electronic devices to reference instructions, control plans, and log production numbers.
  • Maintain production pace and quality to meet delivery and efficiency targets.
  • Identify and escalate equipment problems to maintenance staff.
  • Set up and adjust fixtures, jigs, and tools as required.
  • Conduct Autonomous Maintenance tasks as prescribed.
  • Stack and palletize processed parts per instructions.
