Job summary

Kohler Co. in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking a Molding Operator for the 2nd shift to operate the automated cut-and-stack robot, inspect quality, and assist in packaging Vikrell products such as bathtubs and shower components.

This role involves 8-hour shifts, lifting up to 35 pounds, and a strong emphasis on safety and 5S practices. We offer day-1 benefits and competitive compensation of $23.00 per hour with a $0.90 per hour shift differential, plus opportunities for growth within the Kohler Casa

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
• Experience as Manufacturing Operator or production line operator is preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated cut-and-stack robot and manage SMC parts.
• Remove molded SMC parts from press within set time parameters.
• Assist in cleaning the mold cavity.
• Deflash molded parts and position for transport.
• Carry defective parts (scrap) to the rework area and document.
• Assemble cartons and packing components (Styrofoam, caps, bands, etc.).
• Assist in packaging parts and packaging accessory items as directed.
• Follow plant safety policies, 5S duties, and housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as directed by Team Leader, Supervisor, or Management.
• Complete and maintain training on SOPs/LOPs and policies.
