Job summary

Pratt is seeking a Module Facer Operator to run the single-facer and assist wet-end/dry-end operations in a manufacturing environment. You will setup, operate, clean, and suggest process improvements while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include selecting correct paper rolls, performing splices, monitoring board quality, and assisting in training wet end and dry end personnel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months experience on the dry end of the corrugator is preferred.
• 6 months experience as a Doublebacker Operator is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the single-facers to produce high production and quality.
• Check wet end line-ups to verify correct roll stock is used.
• Set up and change splices and paper changes as necessary.
• Monitor board quality during runs and adjust as needed.
• Turn in maintenance work orders for repairs.
• Clean equipment after shifts and maintain safety housekeeping.
