Job summary

RTX in North Berwick, ME is hiring a Modular Cell Operator I for a 2nd shift (4 x 10-hour days, 4 PM–2 AM). This onsite role includes 4–8 weeks of on‑the‑job training to become certified on engine assembly tasks.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience preferred.
• Ability to compute decimals and fractions; manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform routine assembly operations on engine components.
• Work from operation sheets and travelers to complete tasks.
• Verify conformance of finished work using precision measuring instruments.
• Obtain operator Certification to accept/reject parts.
• Maintain machines through total preventive maintenance (TPM).
• Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve assembly problems.
