Job summary

RTX, the leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Supervisor for the North Berwick Modular Assembly Cell on the second shift (Monday-Thursday, 4PM-2AM). The role leads an hourly workforce, delivering module assemblies for V2500/NGPF and F135 families while applying Lean and CORE principles.

You will mentor a multi-skilled team, manage manpower planning, and drive safety, quality, and delivery performance to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s with 4+ years in engineering/manufacturing/continuous improvement.
• In absence of a degree, 6+ years of relevant experience with HS diploma/GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and shop practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Module Assembly Operations Cell on the 2nd shift for both Commercial and Military product families.
• Provide leadership to hourly employees and align activities across shifts.
• Own line objectives, communicate goals, and deliver quality products.
• Mentor multi-skilled team members in jet engine component assembly.
• Apply Lean and CORE principles to improve quality, efficiency and delivery while reducing costs.
• Ensure safety, training, cross-training, and adherence to policies and programs.
