Job summary

Canfor is seeking a skilled Millwright for our Bucks, AL sawmill on the 2nd shift. You will maintain pumps, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance to maximize uptime.

You will work with a high-performance team, troubleshoot complex machinery, and document maintenance activities using CMMS. Safety and sustainability guide every task as part of Canfor's commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience maintaining industrial equipment in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Basic electrical knowledge to diagnose components.
• Familiarity with CMMS for scheduling and documenting maintenance.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pumps, conveyors, compressors, and other mill machinery.
• Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance.
• Inspect equipment and diagnose irregularities and malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and implement safe, reliable repairs to maximize uptime.
• Coordinate parts requests and document work in CMMS.
