Job summary

Collins Kane Sawmill is seeking a Millwright for 2nd shift (full-time or part-time) at our Kane, PA facility. The role supports maintenance, installation, and operation of manufacturing systems, with an on-site, hands-on focus to keep equipment running smoothly.

We require a mechanical mindset, basic trade tools, and the ability to read tape measures and understand pneumatic/hydraulic systems. Safety compliance is essential in this role, with opportunities for lead duties if earned.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of previous experience preferred.
• Possess the basic tools related to the trade.
• Must be able to properly read a tape measure.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety standards at all times and report any observed hazards.
• Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair manufacturing systems and equipment using welding/fabricating/fitting, hydraulics/pneumatics, blueprints, and machinery alignment.
• Fabricate parts and assemble machinery as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on rolling stock and document work orders in the maintenance system.
• On-site attendance is essential; Lead status may require coordinating with the supervisor and vendors.
