Dover Food Retail is seeking a Welder II – MIG/TIG for the 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm) in South Chesterfield, VA. The role involves laying out, fitting, cutting and welding fabricated components, with experience in robotic welding preferred.

You will read work orders and drawings, maintain a safe work area, and support engineering with prototype samples as needed. High school diploma or GED and relevant welding training or experience required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school or related experience.
• Two years related experience and/or training equivalent.
• Pass internal welding certification test.

Aufgaben

• Cuts aluminum / galvanized metals into lengths per work order (radial saw, miter saw).
• Deburr aluminum using electric sander.
• Shapes edges of aluminum per work order with punch press.
• Punches holes on plastic or aluminum per spec using punch presses.
• Able to TIG and MIG weld thin aluminum extrusions.
• Maintains clean, safe work area per procedures.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, documents.
