Dover Food Retail is seeking a Welder II – MIG/TIG for its facility in South Chesterfield, VA. The role is 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm) and focuses on MIG/TIG welding of aluminum components and fabrication of frames and structures.

You will read drawings, prepare parts, and operate welding equipment including robots, with emphasis on quality, safety, and efficiency. Candidates should have basic fabrication skills and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school or related experience.
• Two years related experience and/or training equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Cuts aluminum/galvanized metals into specified lengths per work order.
• Deburr aluminum using electric sander.
• Shape edges of aluminum per work order using a punch press.
• Punch holes on plastic or aluminum per specification on work order.
• TIG and MIG weld thin aluminum extrusions.
• Maintain a safe, orderly work area per procedures.
• Read and interpret work orders, documents, drawings, and procedures.
• Develop prototype samples to support engineering projects.
