Job summary

CDI is seeking a sheet metal fabricator to cut, bend, and fabricate components used to assemble the finished product. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the production area, operating lasers, brakes, and related tools.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of tool experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read/write English. Physical duties include standing for long periods and lifting up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1-year experience operating laser, press brake/turret or other metal fabrication tools.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended amounts of time; lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 70 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser, press brake/turret and other fabrication tools to create components.
• Cut, bend, and fold sheet metal according to blueprints with safety and accuracy.
• Follow CDI safety rules and ensure equipment is set up and used safely; perform inspections.
• May operate forklift if certified; perform basic maintenance and other duties as assigned.
