Job summary

Homestead Health Care in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking compassionate Resident Aides to provide daily living assistance and companionship to residents. Experience passing medications is required, and you must be comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing and grooming, keeping the living area clean, and reporting any changes to the supervisor. A valid driver’s license or ID and reliable transportation are preferred. Weekend shifts are required.

Homestead Health Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Resident Aides to provide care to our residents in Rochester Hills, MI.

The Resident Aide will assist residents with activities of daily living and provide companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.

Experience passing medications is a requirement, you must be comfortable working alone.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living, specifically but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, etc.


• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.


• Reporting any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.


• Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services, and coworkers of Homestead.


• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.


• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
