Job summary

Homestead Health Care in Shelby Township, MI is seeking a compassionate MedTech to assist residents with activities of daily living and provide companionship. This part-time role requires availability for 7:00AM - 12:30PM and 4:00PM - 9:30PM shifts, including every other weekend.

You will help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, while maintaining a safe, clean environment and reporting changes to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Every other weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care).
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Maintain cleanliness of the environment, including light housekeeping.
• Report changes in residents' condition to supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with families, support services and coworkers.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Homestead Health Care is seeking compassionate and experienced MedTech to provide care to our residents in Shelby Township, MI.

The Caregiver will assist residents with activities of daily living and provide companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.

This is a Part-Time position, we are looking for someone willing to work both 7:00AM - 12:30PM and 4:00PM - 9:30PM

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living, specifically but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, etc.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• Reporting any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.
• Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services, and coworkers of Homestead.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
