Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited/NAACLS approved program for Medical Laboratory Scientist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
• ASCP, AMT, NCA, or HEW certification required
• 1–2 years’ experience in an accredited lab preferred but new grads welcome

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized diagnostic lab tests as requested by healthcare staff.
• Prepares specimens for testing and operates automated instrumentation.
• Performs quality control and assurance procedures.
• Records lab results in the designated system.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy, safety, and biohazard standards.
