Job summary

TridentCare in Brockton, MA is seeking a Medical Technologist/Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12:00am) with rotating weekends/holidays. You will perform chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation testing, verify QC, and enter results in the LIS.

LICENSING: MT/MLT per CLIA with ASCP is preferred; bachelor’s degree with MT or associate degree with MLT required. Full-time positions with competitive wages and benefits are offered; experience in automated analyzers is desirable.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient computer skills for data entry and review.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation.
• Check QC prior to running and reporting patient results.
• Enter test results and edit as needed; review abnormal results with supervisor.
• Maintain instrument maintenance and supply inventory.
• Train new employees and assist the Laboratory Supervisor.
