Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Medical Technician/MLT for PRN coverage on second and third shifts. The role involves performing analyses on blood and body fluids using manual or automated methods, maintaining equipment, and ensuring timely, accurate results for patient care.

Qualifications include an associate degree in MLT/CLT, willingness of graduating students to join, and ASCP (or equivalent) certification within six months.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT).
• Will accept MLT/CLT students graduating within six months.
• ASCP certification or equivalent required within six months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Performs analyses on blood and body fluids to aid health care providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers.
• Troubleshoot assays and evaluate test results for accuracy and timeliness.
• Interpret and communicate test results to clinicians as needed.
