Signature Healthcare in Brockton, MA, is seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) for part-time, 1st shift with weekend/holiday rotation. The role covers blood bank, serology, coagulation, urinalysis, hematology, chemistry and microbiology in a modern hospital laboratory.

Requires MT or MLT credentials, internship or degree in medical technology or related science, and ASCP eligibility or certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Completed MT/MLT internship or equivalent training.
• MT: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or equivalent and ASCP eligibility.
• MLT: Associate degree with at least one year of training/experience.
• ASCP certification eligibility or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain proficiency and perform diagnostic tests across blood bank, serology, coagulation, urinalysis, hematology, chemistry and microbiology.
• Enter results into LIS, communicate with medical staff, and ensure accuracy with LIS history.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment, perform quality control, and maintain documentation.
• Troubleshoot instruments, manage supplies, and train new personnel as needed.
• Adhere to Universal Precautions and safety policies while handling specimens.

Formation

ASCP certification (eligible) or equivalent

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent

Associate degree in chemical/biological/physical science or medical technology with 1+ year lab training

Completed internship through an accredited MT or MLT program
