Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group in Ohio is seeking a 2nd shift Quality Technician to perform testing on incoming and outgoing materials and maintain a safe, organized lab aligned with ISO 9001 requirements.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, GED, and knowledge of lab testing and extrusion materials. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential to support quality documentation and cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifications

• GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Experience in Extruded Rubber Products (ERP) or similar industry preferred.
• ISO knowledge required.
• Strong communication and computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual batch testing per product procedures.
• Calibrate lab and plant equipment periodically.
• Contribute to development of quality specifications for materials and finished products.
• Support ISO Quality systems and document quality processes.
• Conduct periodic quality audits of production processes and finished goods.
• Communicate with other departments about quality status of materials.
• Perform first piece inspections on finished products.
