Job summary

ISU Research Park is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Manufacturing Technician I to work onsite. This entry-level position trains on calibration operations and prepares/assembles components under supervision to develop sub-assemblies and meet product specifications.

You will learn to set up test stands, operate laser marking equipment, and document spray parameters by serial number, supporting continuous improvement and safety programs. Shift is 3:30pm–12:00am, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; GED acceptable with 2 years relevant experience.
• Basic reading of blueprints and assembly and calibration tasks.
• Ability to work with production teams and follow standard work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate test stands for nozzle and valve checks according to specifications.
• Operate laser marker and printer per procedures and specs.
• Record spray parameters by serial number and certify product conformance by results.
