Job description

Location: Isanti, MN. Salary: $60,000–$80,000.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanics assembly operations per documented manufacturing procedures such as Bill of Materials, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprint drawings, BOMs, wiring schematics, and associated procedures.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, including standard ratchets, wrenches, pipe wrenches, crescent wrenches, drills, impact drivers, pliers, vise‑grips, and cutters.
  • Self‑inspect and evaluate product quality before forwarding to the next step – critical for final assembly.
  • Perform other duties as required to support company operations, such as service and repair or other cross‑trainable departments.
  • Meet or exceed pre‑established performance objectives.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Follow work direction and training from higher‑level personnel.
  • Participate in continuous improvement by identifying and communicating basic process improvements.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Adapt to frequently changing priorities and tasks.
  • Maintain reliability, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive bending and standing for extended periods. Cranes are available for lifting exceeds 50 lbs.
  • Operate equipment and machinery such as overhead cranes and forklifts (training provided).
  • Remain alert when operating equipment and/or machinery.
  • Reason and engage decision‑making.
  • Maintain attention to detail and concentration on tasks.
  • Perform frequent bending, twisting, turning, and extended standing periods.
Essential Requirements
  • Strong gripping, reaching, fine dexterity, and motor skills for regular use of basic hand and power tools.
  • Experience operating equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Alertness when operating equipment and/or machinery.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or use cranes for heavier loads.
  • Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and concentration.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, and turning.
  • Extended periods of standing.
Minimum Experience Preferred
  • 2–3 years of assembly and/or mechanical/manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with hydraulics or other power transmission systems.
  • Experience with 12‑volt electrical systems.
