Primary Duties

• Prioritize a secure work environment to help maintain a safe atmosphere for the entire team.
• Construct systems and components by strictly following provided technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Utilize diverse equipment, including torque and hand tools, electrical parts, hydraulic systems, and metric measuring instruments.
• Ensure all production and quality documentation is recorded accurately through both manual and electronic systems.
• Help improve overall production quality by identifying, documenting, and resolving assembly issues.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure that all production targets and quality standards are met.
• Demonstrate the ability to execute tasks autonomously with limited oversight after the initial training period.

Qualifications

• A GED or High School Diploma is mandatory.
• At least two years of practical mechanical experience—such as automotive, diesel, or equipment repair—or a relevant technical trade school certification.
• Possess strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret complex blueprints or technical schematics.
• Demonstrate the ability to operate hoists, jib cranes, and overhead cranes safely, with training provided as necessary.

Physical Demands

• Lift objects weighing up to 35 lbs on a frequent basis.
• Maintain the ability to stand and perform tasks throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Demonstrate flexibility to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and twist while working in confined areas.
• Work at various elevations by climbing ladders, step stools, and equipment.
• Function effectively in work areas where temperatures may fluctuate.
• Execute repetitive motions involving grasping, pulling, pushing, and rotation.
• Utilize fine motor skills to ensure precision and detail in assembly work.
• Operate various hand tools, such as drills, wrenches, pneumatic tools, and torque equipment, with the capacity to reach 250 Newton meters or 185 foot-pounds.
• Utilize required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed or metatarsal boots, and dust masks when necessary.
