Job summary

Western Smokehouse Partners is seeking a Processing Team Member to help produce high-quality meat products in a cold environment. You will handle tasks from receiving to cooking, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with QA and USDA standards.

Qualifications

• Read and follow batch recipes and SOPs precisely.
• Follow GMPs, food-safety, and QA guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with team and supervisors.
• Operate in a refrigerated environment and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operational inspections of machines and equipment.
• Receive shipments and complete required documentation.
• Maintain and rotate inventory using FIFO practices.
• Scan ingredients into Vista Trac for traceability.
• Set up, operate, and adjust equipment to meet specs.
• Label and verify product labels and color codes.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, and FDA/USDA regulations.
• Report safety or food-safety concerns to supervision.
• Support production goals and assist other technicians as needed.
