Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company seeks a Material Specialist for the 2nd shift in Petersburg, Virginia. The role involves managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring timely and accurate supply of materials, and adhering to safety and regulatory practices. Candidates should have at least 4 years of warehouse experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, and good documentation skills. This position operates from 3 PM to 11:30 PM and requires the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Must obtain Powered industrial truck certification upon employment.
• Experience in a process improvement environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily warehouse activities including receipt and shipment of materials.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety regulations.
• Initiate and close deviations, CAPAs, Change Actions, etc.
