Job summary

BioSpace is seeking a Materials Specialist for the 1st shift to manage warehouse activities, including receiving, handling, and shipping materials to support site manufacturing. The role emphasizes accurate cycle counts, GMP/documentation, and maintaining an inspection-ready warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have a 4+ year track record in warehouse operations, experience with ERP systems, and forklift certification upon employment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, pharma experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree or higher in a related field is a plus.
• Powered industrial truck certification required upon employment.
• Experience using ERP systems with emphasis on inventory.
• Good writing and documentation skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform all shift warehouse activities to meet site manufacturing requirements.
• Supply materials to site departments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Adhere to Civica procedures and GMP/documentation practices.
• Ensure staff safety regulations are followed.
• Attend shift meetings to ensure clear communication.
• Initiate, investigate, and close deviations, CAPAs, Change Actions, etc., as applicable.
• Participate in regulatory QA audits and SOP revisions.
• Adapt priorities to changes in schedule to minimize impact.
