Job summary

Perry's Ice Cream in New York is seeking a hands-on production teammate for the 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm, Mon–Fri). You will add ingredients to ice cream, move heavy pails and boxes, and help with packaging while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

You'll join a fast-paced, safety-focused team and participate in changeovers, GMP adherence, and cross-team support. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+, and ability to stand, lift up to 60 lbs, and work in cold environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, HSE or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and work on wet/icy floors.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs continuously.
• Safe lifting and bending techniques; GMP compliance.
• Reliable, team-oriented and detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Add ingredients into ice cream.
• Lift and pour 50–60 lb pails of sauces and 20–30 lb boxes every 3–5 minutes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; assist production and sanitation teams.
• Support other areas as needed and during changeovers.
