Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in material handling, inventory management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the material service team during the 2nd shift to meet production and operational requirements.
• Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards within the material handling area.
• Monitor team performance, provide training and development opportunities, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement departments to optimize material flow and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Maintain accurate records of material transactions and prepare reports on inventory status and team productivity.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
