Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with supervision
• Experience in material handling, receiving, inventory management and organization
• Lean Manufacturing experience, Six Sigma and/or Lean Certification
• Oracle ERP experience

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, manage performance, and direct the activities of personnel to ensure they support site revenue plan and schedule
• Conduct shift huddles to communicate daily action plans, company news and safety Alerts
• Establish goals for department and direct reports, oversee Shipping & Quality personnel
• Ensure that stockroom material movement using Oracle is documented, implemented, and trained
• Develop plans to increase speed of material flow and reduce inventory levels
• Partner with Warehouse Manager and 1st shift supervisors to improve inventory accuracy; examine methods for accurate counts
• Investigate discrepancies and shortages to keep production running with minimal downtime
• Deploy/improve visual management in stockroom locations by practicing 6S
• Manage material replenishment from traditional to VMI or Kanban
• Monitor and develop scheduling and inventory control techniques aligned with Lean principles
