Job summary

Gestamp is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring material flow and on-time customer delivery. You will manage warehouse personnel, enforce safety standards, and monitor key KPIs to improve productivity.

Responsibilities include coordinating material movement, supervising shipping/receiving, training staff, and driving process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. OSHA/GMP compliance is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Forklift certification and safety-related training preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the movement of raw materials, components, and packaging supplies to support production schedules.
Supervise shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, inspection, and documentation of inbound and outbound shipments.
Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse and logistics team members.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, GMP standards, and company safety policies.
Monitor inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
Track and report key performance metrics, including order accuracy, on-time delivery, and labor productivity.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
