Job summary

FurstStaffing seeks a Material Handler on the 2nd shift to support production and shipping. You will move, pick, and package materials, handle up to 100 lb items, and use barcoding and ERP systems to ensure accurate inventory and timely shipments.

Training is provided for forklift operation if needed, and you will work closely with the supervisor and team to maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling within warehouse or distribution (1–3 years).
• Comfortable using computers and navigating multiple software systems.
• Accurate data entry and strong attention to part numbers and orders.
• Knowledge of packaging standards to prevent freight damage.
• Familiarity with barcoding and ERP/MRP software.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and walk 15,000–20,000+ steps per shift.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities across functions.
• Strong teamwork and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Pull, inspect, and package finished goods for shipment using barcoding and shipping systems.
• Move, stack, and record materials in ERP/MRP systems.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain order accuracy.
• Unload, load, and manage materials for production and shipping.
• Coordinate shipping schedules and maintain cleanliness.
• Use computer systems and rotate between functions.
• Walk and lift materials up to 100 pounds.
• Adhere to safety policies.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
