Steel Craft is seeking a Material Handler to move and organize materials, ensuring timely delivery to production areas and accurate inventory records. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration with production teams to minimize delays.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year in a warehouse/manufacturing setting, forklift/pallet jack experience, and familiarity with ERP systems. This position supports 2nd shift operations and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of material handling practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to safely handle and store metal materials, chemicals, and coatings.
• Basic math and measurement skills to assist with material preparation and stock counts.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, especially for hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate inventory management systems and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Transport and move raw materials (metal sheets, coils, etc.) and coating supplies to designated production areas.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, forklifts, and other handling equipment.
• Store materials safely in the warehouse with proper labeling and organization.
• Assist with inventory control by tracking material usage and stock levels.
• Deliver materials to production lines according to schedules and prepare materials for production.
