Job summary

Electronic Power Design, Inc. is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support our Fabrication Department and manufacturing operations. This role moves materials, assists with inventory, and helps production teams maintain workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of material handling experience, forklift operation skills, and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork in manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of material handling, warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or similar equipment.
• Ability to read work orders and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong organizational, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, components, and finished parts throughout the shop.
• Organize, stage and distribute materials based on work orders and priorities.
• Verify material allocations and ensure correct delivery to operators/technicians.
• Assist with inventory tracking, replenishment, and stock organization.
• Report shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
• Support fabrication operators by delivering materials for production.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and adhere to PPE requirements.
• Record material movements and production support activities accurately.
