Job summary

O'Neal Steel has openings for a Material Handler 2nd shift at our Grand Prairie, TX facility. The Material Handler will load and unload material within a warehouse using hand trucks, forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors, or other equipment to move material to and from trucks or trains.

You will operate a wide variety of material handling equipment and use a range of hand tools, read a tape measure, and provide high quality work to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Operate forklifts, cranes, and related equipment safely.
• Read tape measures accurately for quality checks.
• Prepare and move materials for internal/external customers.
• Provide high quality work to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, and yard dog.
• Use hand tools such as grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench.
• Accurately read a tape measure.
• Provide high quality work to all internal and external customers as related to output.
