Job summary

O'Neal Steel has an opening for a Material Handler on the 2nd shift at our Little Rock, AR facility. The role loads and unloads material using forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors and related equipment, moving items to and from trucks and within storage areas.

Candidates should be able to read a tape measure, operate various hand tools, and follow established procedures to ensure high-quality output for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools including grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material within a warehouse.
• Move material to and from trucks or trains using handling equipment and within storage facility.
• Adhere to established guidelines; support internal and external customers with quality output.
