Valtir Llc in Pell City, AL is seeking a Material Handler for 2nd shift. The role involves moving raw materials and parts, coordinating schedules, and supporting production flow.

You will operate cranes and forklifts, ensure accurate material transfers, and maintain safe, efficient work on the plant floor. Requirements include high school education (or equivalent), familiarity with blueprints, and previous crane/forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of blueprints is required.
• Experience using overhead crane and forklift is highly desirable.
• Ability to use measuring tools and read production documents.
• Must work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Adheres to safety rules and attendance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead crane, forklift, pallet jack and related equipment using safe techniques.
• Receive, organize, and stock materials; provide to work stations for orders.
• Report transfers and update location/part lists as needed.
• Work with others and read drawings and BOM; use measuring devices.
• Follow safety rules and participate in safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
