Job summary

Spirax-Sarco Engineering’s Durex Industries unit is hiring a Material Handler for the 2nd shift to support CNC operations. You will unload, inspect, count, and stage materials to purchase orders and production lines.

The role requires forklift operation, basic math, reading scales, and proficiency with Word and Excel. Valid driver's license and 1–3 years of material handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• 1–3 years material handling experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record required.
• Ability to read scales and rulers.
• Computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently or under supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and management.
• Safety/quality minded; good work ethic.
• Organized and detail oriented; self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Unload, check and compare material to purchase orders; verify counts and part numbers.
• Receive and store materials and prepare materials for use in production areas.
• Safely transport product to and from local vendors as required.
• Maintain records of receipts and disbursements.
• Operate forklift as required.
• Fill pick tickets and kits as requested.
• Transport materials to and from vendor using company vehicle; follow safety policies.
• Label material properly and distribute to departments/inventory locations as required.
• May be assigned additional tasks as needed.
