Job Description:

Position: Cooper Standard in Oscoda is direct hiring for immediate 2nd shift material handler positions in Oscoda, MI.

Pay:

Starting wage is $13.73 per hour

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills and experience:

• Experience is required; however, a current forklift license is not required as you will be giving site specific training and licensing on site.
• Must work well with people, be organized, and work independently.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must be able to obtain a fork truck license.

Physical requirements:

• Lifting, bending, twisting, and repetitive actions are essential functions of this position.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects up to and/or exceeding 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Additional requirements:

• Must be able to work overtime on short notice. Overtime is common with this position.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings.
