Job summary

Cooper Standard in Oscoda is hiring for immediate 2nd shift material handler positions. Starting wage is $13.73 per hour with overtime potential and comprehensive benefits. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and on-site training will enable forklift licensing as needed.

Ideal candidates work well with others, stay organized, and can operate independently. Ability to obtain a fork truck license and pass pre-employment screenings is required.

Job description

Position:

Cooper Standard in Oscoda is direct hiring for immediate 2nd shift material handler positions in Oscoda, MI.

Pay

Starting wage is $13.73 per hour

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills and experience:

Experience is required; however, a current forklift license is not required as you will be giving site specific training and licensing on site. Must work well with people, be organized, and work independently. Must be self-motivated. Must be able to obtain a fork truck license.

Physical requirements:

Lifting, bending, twisting, and repetitive actions are essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift heavy objects up to and/or exceeding 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Additional requirements:

Must be able to work overtime on short notice. Overtime is common with this position.

Must pass pre-employment screenings.
