Job summary

Moog Inc is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler for onsite operations in Blacksburg, VA. The role involves packing components, processing shipments, and maintaining dock inventory while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Candidates should have at least 3 years in inventory management, strong computer skills including Excel, and a valid driver’s license. SAP experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; otherwise demonstrated ability to understand and apply all work instructions and training.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory management.
• Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and data entry.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Quality conscious, mechanical aptitude, and good dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Package components and final assemblies per detailed packing instructions.
• Process supporting documentation for all product shipments.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
• Ship per sales order report; schedule existing orders; check actual inventory versus computer totals.
• Unload incoming materials and maintain dock/warehouse area.
• Receive and verify incoming supplies, enter data into the computer system, and deliver material per routing instructions.
• Assist in training and cross-training of others.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range Transparency

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary based on location, experience, and performance.
