Job summary

Moog Inc., located in Blacksburg, VA, is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You will package components, unload materials, verify deliveries, and maintain a clean dock area while following detailed procedures.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED, at least 3 years in inventory or related manufacturing, and strong computer skills including MS Office and Excel. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred; otherwise ability to understand and apply all work instructions and training.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in inventory or a combination of inventory and manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work with computers including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Data Entry.

Responsibilities

• Package components and final assemblies per detailed packing instructions and process documentation for shipments.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and unload incoming materials; verify and log received items.
• Perform computer tasks: ship per sales order, schedule orders, and check actual inventory vs. records.
• Assist in training and cross-training of others; participate in Continuous Improvement processes.
