Job summary

Moog Inc. in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Operator to join the Space & Defense team. You will report to the Production Coach and perform assembly tasks onsite in Blacksburg, VA, following documented instructions and calibration checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Quality conscious with mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic assembly operations using required manufacturing documentation.
• Store, clean and maintain tools, equipment and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals.
• Perform electrical testing using automated test equipment.
• Solder, read from blueprints, and use microscopes.
• Complete paperwork required for each part, accurately and legibly.
• Perform minor rework per Standard Rework Procedures, Quality History Tag Instructions, or rework router.

Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Production Operator to join them. You will report to the Production Coach and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Quality conscious, mechanical aptitude, and good dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic assembly operations using required manufacturing documentation.
• Correctly store, clean and maintain tools, equipment and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals.
• Perform electrical testing using automated test equipment.
• Solder, read from blueprints, and use microscopes.
• Complete paperwork required for each part, accurately & legibly.
• Perform minor rework per Standard Rework Procedures, Quality History Tag Instructions, or rework router.

Salary Range Transparency

Blacksburg, VA $16.00–$20.00 Hourly
