Job summary

KAM Plastics is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to ensure raw materials are available for production. You’ll mix, coordinate, and stage materials, deliver to machines, and operate forklifts to support smooth runs.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience or ability to obtain forklift license.
• Manufacturing experience and understanding of manufacturing processes preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mix, coordinate and stage raw materials based on production needs.
• Deliver materials to machines according to the production schedule.
• Safely operate forklifts to move, load and stack materials.
• Perform material and inventory transactions using computer/barcoding systems.
• Clean loaders, dryers and grinders during mold changes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Keep material areas clean, organized and ready for production.
• Follow KAM work instructions, safety requirements and quality procedures.
