Job summary

ProAmpac in Lenexa, KS is seeking a dependable Material Handler for the 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., Monday-Friday). You will safely move, store, and track materials, support inventory accuracy, shipping, and production efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience operating industrial forklifts and standing lift trucks preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including e-mail and inventory management systems.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized forklift trucks to move materials between warehouse storage and production areas.
• Operate hand carts to deliver packages and materials to designated recipients.
• Operate man-up turret forklifts and work safely at heights exceeding 15 feet.
• Perform computerized inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Bale scrap film and corrugated packaging materials as needed.
• Move and prepare hazardous waste containers for shipment in accordance with DOT and hazardous waste regulations.
