Job summary

Sunseeker Property Service in Arlington, VT is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to coordinate and direct activities of workers in molding or assembly, ensuring daily schedules, quality and production goals are met.

The role provides technical leadership, analyzes workforce utilization and workflow, enforces ISO procedures, promotes safety, and fosters collaboration with internal teams and customers while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, plus one to two years related manufacturing experience and/or training.
• Associates degree (A. A.) from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, directs, evaluates and provides training and leadership to twenty or more hourly employees for the assembly and/or molding operations.
• Develops daily schedules, ensures that quality and production goals are met, and troubleshoots problems as required.
• Provides technical leadership for department, including recommending and implementing equipment, process and material enhancements.
• Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements and workflow including design layouts for equipment and workspace.
• Ensures all ISO procedures are followed, integrity of product to standard, process improvement recommendations: SPC, and other quality systems developed and maintained.
• Ensures employees complete safety training, establishes safe work environment, and leads department safety team.
• Maintains constructive working relationship with business units, customers, and internal departments including effective communication, coordination of WIP and process improvement.
• Researches and makes recommendations on production and auxiliary equipment procurement, and identifies new technologies and expansion plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
