Job summary

EFCO Corp. in Des Moines, IA, seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead 2nd shift production and distribution for EFCO and SwapLoader systems, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on the shop floor.

You will supervise hourly workers, manage daily production schedules, and drive continuous improvement while supporting inventory management and employee development. This onsite role runs from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM CT, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• Background in construction, warehousing, or distribution preferred.
• Proven leadership and team motivation experience.
• Excellent PC skills required.
• Strong math skills and ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly production employees, monitor performance, and foster safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage production materials layout, inventory accuracy, and material flow to support deliveries.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and development of hourly team members.
• Train employees on equipment use and enforce safety protocols; identify risks and ensure compliance.
• Foster a high-performance environment through coaching, feedback, and clear expectations.
• Support special projects and broader plant initiatives as assigned by management.
