Job summary

IEM in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a defined production area, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while managing team leads and operators.

The role requires coordinating with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance, upholding 5S and standard work, and supporting onboarding and continuous improvement. This is a 100% in-office position on second shift.

Qualifications

• Degree in operations, industrial engineering, or supply chain.
• 2+ years leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with takt time and standard work.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.
• Supervise and coach Team Leads and Operators, promoting accountability and safety.
• Ensure adherence to daily build schedules and takt time; report risks.
• Monitor KPIs and lead Tier 1 daily management meetings.
• Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance for readiness.
• Enforce safety, 5S, standard work, and policy compliance.
• Support onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling with Learning & Development.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
