Job summary

Microbest, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a multi-cell team in a high-volume precision environment. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals while building a capable, engaged workforce.

You will translate daily production plans, monitor performance, and partner with maintenance and quality to sustain OEE and on-time delivery. Strong coaching and lean experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high-volume precision manufacturing
• 2+ years leading teams in a multi-cell environment
• Experience with lean/continuous improvement (5S, standard work, visual mgmt, PDCA/8D, SMED)
• Comfort reading blueprints and using basic metrology

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of leads and operators; conduct daily stand-ups and 1:1s
• Translate production schedules into actionable plans by cell/line; balance labor and machine capacity
• Monitor hour-by-hour performance to hit OEE, throughput, and on-time delivery targets
• Escalate equipment downtime; coordinate with Maintenance for rapid response and PM windows
• Provide clear shift handoffs and concise status updates to leadership
• Use data (scrap, rework, cycle times, labor efficiency) to prioritize improvements
