Johnson Controls, Inc. in Lubbock, TX is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will lead a dedicated team to achieve daily production schedules in assembly and fabrication, while prioritizing safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent, 2-year degree with experience, and availability for 2nd shift (Mon-Sat: 2:30PM-1:00AM). Proficiency in MS Office and lean-methods experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree and 3 years minimum experience, or 2-year degree and 6 years minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Availability to work 2nd shift (Mon-Sat: 2:30PM-1:00AM).
• Proficiency using MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of a work team to meet daily production schedules in the assembly/fabrication of sub-assemblies, parts, or units.
• Uphold a strong commitment to production goals, efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
• Apply LEAN tools to measure and enhance the department's Key Business Drivers.
