Job summary

Performix in El Paso seeks a dynamic Manufacturing Supervisor to drive production schedules, cost efficiency, quality, and lead-time targets on 2nd shift. You will lead a 20-person team, train staff, and push process improvements while maintaining a safety-first culture and strong performance oversight.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations, manage time-keeping and disciplinary matters, and report production metrics to upper management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and waste elimination.
• Prior manufacturing leadership experience leading a sizable team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce schedules that meet cost, quality, and lead time goals.
• Organize and address training needs for teams to enhance skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Lead people management including goals, development, recognition and engagement, time-keeping, and performance.
• Promote a safety-first culture and compliant work environment.
• Own group performance goals and guide the team to success.
• Lead, train, and mentor the facility's supervisor team.
• Ensure products meet quality standards through inspections and QC processes.
• Maintain records of production metrics and incidents for management.
