Job summary

TOPS Products LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 3pm-11pm shift to lead daily production operations and support the second shift manufacturing team. You will oversee staffing, production schedules, quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Proven ability to drive accountability and results through others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead hourly manufacturing employees to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery objectives.
• Review production schedules and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Assign and adjust staffing based on production demands and operational priorities.
• Communicate production goals, schedule changes, material shortages, and operational issues to employees and leadership.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other support functions to resolve production challenges.
• Monitor workflow and production performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct employee performance discussions, provide feedback, and support employee development initiatives.
• Maintain production reports, departmental records, performance metrics, and operational documentation.
• Participate in evaluating and improving manufacturing methods, processes, equipment, and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
